so apparently i was going for worst mother of the year. i stayed up too late watching desperate housewives and brothers and sisters. i don’t know why i didn’t just tape them. (i think i’m the only human alive who still uses a vcr btw) and then of course i had to find out why jon knight got voted out of the group who formally changed their name to nkotb (“three hands went up and then jordan said ‘majority rules’” btw, when does jon knight come out?) on behind the music)
so, i was tired and cranky all day. holly watched too much tv and i got nothing done. so i have decided to implement three changes beginning tonite.
1. exercise every day for energy.
2. get enuf sleep
3. make a to do list each nite for the next day.
i will be better tomorrow.

i think it was a good idea to keep holly in this weekend. we had a packed weekend planned: holly was supposed to visit grandpa and then attend a birthday party for her friend grant yesterday; today was a visit with uncle tim and aunt kris as well as nanny and pop pop of course………
however, i think twas a good idea to keep her in. both nights she fell asleep basically at the kitchen table.(i just rocked her to sleep in the green chair) and her cough sounds better. she started coughing after running around the kitchen a bit today–i guess she will have asthma.
in sleeping news, jack went seven hours last nite! whoo-hoo! mommy got seven hours in a row too! i feel like i’ve been given a gift. let’s see what tonite shall bring!

so, seven months and one child later, here i am blogging again. what a day it’s been. we took jack to the doctor today for his two month well visit. he is the weight and has the head of a six month old and has the length of a four month old. according to dr , he will be 6 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds. go jackasaurs! he got two shots and barely cried.
while at dr ’s office, holly’s cough, which she woke up with, seemed to turn into a wheeze. he was floored that she was not sick yesterday. long story short, we just finished giving her a nebulizer treatment? i don’t even know how to say that grammatically. poor kid. food allergies, asthma pump, now nebulizer. she gets that from tim’s side def!
holly FLIPPED OUT when dr examinied her. she has never done that before. she started crying immediately when we removed her shirt and complained that she didn’t want to be “all nuded up.” then she cried the whole time while tim and i laughed nervously b/c we didn’t know what to do; we’d never seen that b4!
at the dry cleaner later, holly said, “hey! they look like dr chi,” to which the owners laughed hysterically.
holly’s mother also needs to start speaking nicer to her. holly is getting bossier by the day and includes phrases like: “do you hear me talking to you?”, “hey, answer me,” and “i will tell YOU when i’m done with the breathing treatment.”
as my dear friend beth, and only blog reader would say, “oh dear.”
